We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming French Language Learning Staff Week, taking place from June 16 to June 20, 2025, at Montpellier University Paul Valéry in the stunning city of Montpellier, located in the beautiful South of France.
This immersive week is designed to offer a perfect blend of language learning, professional exchange, and cultural discovery. Here’s what you can look forward to:
What You'll Experience:
- French Language Classes: Tailored sessions for both beginner and intermediate learners, designed to enhance your French proficiency in a supportive environment.
- Cultural Exploration: Experience the charm of the South of France with a guided visit to a traditional wine estate (Domaine viticole), where you’ll get a taste of the region’s renowned wine culture.
- Professional Networking: Engage with university staff and exchange insights about your profession. The IRO team will do their best to organize meetings with your counterparts at UPVM to facilitate meaningful connections.
Practical Details:
The participation fee is €400 per person, which includes:
- 20 hours of French classes to accelerate your language learning journey.
- One special dinner in the historic heart of Montpellier, offering a delightful culinary experience.
- 10 public transportation tickets for easy exploration of the city.
- A cultural trip with a meal and organized activities to immerse you in the local culture.
Please Note: Accommodation is not included in the participation fee. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses using Erasmus funds for staff mobility. Here are some recommended accommodation options to consider:
